That’s right everyone, the Discover Banff Tours and Blue Canoe folks have been working hard on creating a fun float for the Canada Day parade in Banff! The gang spent last night slaving away down at Blue Canoe cutting, painting, dying and drawing out a fun design for our float. We will be putting it all together around 3pm this Thursday, July 1st at Blue Canoe so be sure to come down for a sneak peak!

The Canada Day parade will be happening on Banff Ave around 5pm with all sorts of fun floats from businesses around town. Following the parade, there will be a fireworks show in the late evening. The best place to check out the fireworks will be anywhere on the Bow River, but especially around Central Park. Hope to see you all in town with your Canadian flags out in full force!

There have been rumors of a Blue Canoe website floating around for a couple weeks and now it’s finally here! We are all very excited to have a whole website dedicated entirely to Blue Canoe and even more excited about the blog. We will be updating it weekly with information on canoeing in Banff, funny stories, fun facts and more! Be sure to check back often to keep up to date on the happenings at Blue Canoe.
